I am planning on going back to work, and then I'm going to MSUN for welding. After that, I'm moving to Alaska to work on the pipelines or the oil rigs to be able to make the big bucks.

Falcons are headed to the state tourney. Practice round today. Tourney play Tues and Wed. #falcongolf

The FCS second graders are studying the properties of matter in science! We've been hard at work learning and conducting experiments about material properties, insulators, heating and cooling, the states of matter, and more.
For example, we pretended we were washed up on a deserted island with nothing but a few supplies leftover from lunch: foil, paper plates and plates, paper bags, strings, and clips. We tested those supplies' properties to help determine which would come together to provide protection from the sun...and then we made those hats!
We've also engineered a tool to insulate our hands from heat, and tested the melting properties and of candy. So fun!

Kindergarteners using their bodies to learn about coding! They built mazes and had to "code" their partner through the maze.

Harrison Shepp, thanks for coloring! After 1 1/2 years of planning and production, the falcon is flying high above the school's entrance. Special thanks to National Honor Society, Florence Recreation Facility Beautification Project, Mr. Abbott, and Mr. Ketelhut for supporting this project's completion.

You are cordially invited to attend one of three incredible performances of your very own high school Drama program: The Florence-Carlton Shakespeare Company presents: Henry IV, Part One by William Shakespeare. These students have been working diligently in and out of class since the end of November to present this full-length professional-grade performance of William Shakespeare's classic. This play includes professional, handmade costumes from former FCHS alum Hannah McLean that transport you back to Medieval England. These students have worked tirelessly to bring authentic theatre to Florence. This show does not exist without community members attending to see a side of Florence student life that is often unseen and unrecognized. This is not your typical high school play. Join us for laughter, swordfighting, passion, sweat, and tears. These students deserve an audience that appreciates the wide range of talent and dedication that exists here in Florence. Come celebrate these students with us!

After graduation, I will attend Missoula College through the University of Montana. I will be pursuing my associate's degree in nursing while working towards getting my real estate license. After completing my pre-requisites, nursing school, and passing the state test, I will be a Registered Nurse. I plan to do an accelerated online program to get my Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing when I start working. I chose this path because it is much more affordable and allows me to start working and have an income while I complete my Bachelor’s degree.

I’m going to the University of California, Santa Cruz. I’m pumped up to lounge on the beach while studying psychology this fall. And of course Kate will be with me!
