The fifth graders are participating in a U.S. postcard exchange! We are sending one postcard with Montana facts to a fifth grade class in every state, as well as Puerto Rico. We are also receiving a postcard from a fifth grade class in every state, and displaying those on a map in the flex space in the upstairs elementary wing.
We've been working hard on collecting Montana facts, then using those to draft and write, address, and stamp a postcard. Our postcards are now finished and ready to send to classrooms around the country. This has been a fun project to help us learn our U.S. regions!
