The Florence-Carlton Parent Organization is pleased to announce they are bringing the movie "Screenagers: Generation AI" to Florence on Tuesday, November 17th 6:00-8:00pm in the FCS Maroon Gym. This is a valuable opportunity to learn more about what your children are facing in a world of AI and social media. As a parent, it can be scary to not know how to protect your child as they navigate a world we may be completely unfamiliar with. This movie offers some important insight into understanding what is out there.
"Screenagers: Generation AI" explores what can be done to mitigate the risks artificial intelligence poses to young people's learning, relationships, and mental health. The movie features guidance for youth, parents, and educators. Join fellow Florence families for a free screening of this very important film as well as a conversation with Maria Raine, parent and advocate. This event will run approximately 2 hours and is appropriate for middle school and high school students to attend.

I would like to thank the ladies from Community Hospital, Brianna Schweigert, Michelle Long, Mindy Bierwag and Jadelyn Michael, for teaching a "Hands Only CPR" unit to my Life Skills Class. The students enjoyed the lesson and now can help out family and community members in an emergency.

Times will be from 7am-8pm.
