Happy HOMECOMING everyone! The FCSD homecoming parade is today, Friday, October 7, 2022. Participants will line up on the backside of the baseball fields at the end of Iowa at 3:30PM. The FCSD homecoming parade will begin at 4:00PM. The parade route will head south on Iowa Ave to Ordway, west on Ordway to Florence Carlton Loop, north on Florence Carlton Loop to Tie Chute, east on Tie Chute to Old 93, south on Old 93 in front of the school, east on Long Ave where participants will turn north into the bus lane and follow the bus lane out through the staff parking lot. The parade route will go south on Iowa from there to Ordway, head up Ordway to Florence Carlton Loop, go north on Florence Carlton Loop to Tie Chute, head east on Tie Chute to Old 93, go south on Old 93 in front of the school, then left onto Long Ave where people will drive down and turn into the bus lane and follow the bus lane out through the staff parking lot.

The school counselors at FCS would like all parents to know that the Greater Ravalli Foundation and the Rapp Foundation have offered to purchase winter gear for any student enrolled in our school that may be in need this year. Please email Ms. Adler (K-5) or Ms. Bristow (6-12) by October 10th if your student is in need of winter coats, snow pants (elementary only), hats, gloves, and/or winter boots. Hello teachers! (and Families!) We put fundraising packets in everyone's mailboxes to be sent home with your first period students. There are additional packets available in the offices if we miscounted. Last year we FCPO spent over $15K supporting the school last year alone so this fundraiser is incredibly important. Below you will find the information that will be sent home by principals to parents. Hopefully it will help answer any questions you or your students have. Thank you for your support! FCPO Board :) Florence Carlton Parents Organization K-12 fundraiser starts today, and we need your help. Our goal is to raise $10,000.00 for essential programs not currently funded through traditional means. There are three ways to help raise money this year: PushSave, Shop Fund, and Fund A Falcon. This email details all those options! PushSave Local and national businesses are participating by offering wonderful discounts to their businesses. If you are familiar with Amusement cards or the Bucs cards this is the app version of that fundraiser. Purchase the app, customize the discounts you want, and save money! Register your student at PushSave Shop Fund Each student K12 should have been sent home with a fundraising packet. The packet includes a catalog and order form for Shop Fund. Senior Night on 9/30 Only seniors in Football will be walking this Friday due to the large number of seniors on the football team. Seniors in Cheer & Stunt, Cross Country, Soccer, and Volleyball will be walking on Oct. 20th.

We need TEN FCHS alumni and TEN current FCHS students to participate in a tug-of-war competition at our community-wide pep rally next Wednesday, October 5th at 6:30 PM. If you're planning on being there and are up for some extra fun, find Coach Peterson at the pep rally so you can participate! GO FALCONS!

This is Florence-Carlton's FFA Judging Team that is competing this week. Big shout out to all the students and the staff that has made FFA possible at Florence!
