As we prepare for the end of this school year, here are a few reminders from the nurse……
If your child had medication in the office this year, you will need to pick it up by the last day of school. Otherwise, it will be disposed of properly. This includes prescribed medications, over the counter medications, inhalers, and epi-pens.
If your child has Asthma, Severe Allergies, Seizures, Diabetes, or another health condition requiring a care plan and/or medications, the forms to be completed by the start of the 2026/2027 school year are on our website @florencecarlton.org

Incoming 7th graders; remember Tdap vaccine prior to the first day of school, August 24,2026. “School vaccine requirements” are listed on our website as well, under medical forms. These are state wide requirements.
Incoming Kindergartners; State based immunizations are required prior to the first day of school, August 26, 2026. Please make sure you are up-to-date per protocol.
Lastly, please note the Communicable Disease Guide under “health services” on our website. Updated Winter 2023, distributed by Montana DPHHS. Great guideline to follow regarding diseases.
