FCSD Board Bio

Matthew and his wife own & operate a Professional Development and Training Organization.  They are raising two teenagers who are actively involved in the Florence community in sports and civic organizations.  Matthew has over 25 years of public service in EMS, Fire, and Law Enforcement.   He is an educator at heart with over 25 years in the classroom in both the High School and Adult Education setting. He is an adjunct professor at a community college out of state where he teaches Constitutional Law and Forensic Science-Crime Scene Investigations.  He teaches both traditional college courses and dual-enrollment courses for high school students who earn college credit.

He is a graduate of the University of La Verne, where he earned a Bachelor’s degree in Public Administration.  Matthew was honored to be accepted to his childhood dream school at the University of Southern California (USC).  He made the most of this opportunity and graduated with Honors with an Executive Master of Leadership degree.  His work at USC included Leading Groups and Teams, Strategic Planning development, and Leading Transformations Across Sectors where he presented on Generational Leadership Development.

Matthew employs his education and experience to develop leaders in the corporate, non-profit, and public sectors.  His collaboration approach working with clients, to foster and create high impact teams in their organizations through facilitating professional development and growth by way of focused individual coaching and concentrated employee development has proven to be highly successful.
